The 2011 Epson NSW/ACT Professional Photographer of the Year Awards took place in Sydney recently.  I decided to enter the awards this year for the first time ever.  I am very pleased with my results and am happy to share.  I entered four prints in the portrait category and ended up winning one gold, one silver and runner-up for the 2011 Epson ACT Portrait Photographer of the Year.  Here is a peek at the prints that I entered:

I had my favourite little guy back again for another session recently. This time we changed things up a bit and took some photos outside. They turned out great! Here’s a little peek at some of the photos we got on the day:

I had a sweet little baby girl in the studio recently.  Loved photographing her and her family.  I met mum and dad for the first time at their mini maternity session and was looking forward to meeting bub.  She was too precious!   We got lots of photos whilst they were here.  Here’s a little(big) sneak peek:

Terms and Conditions
There is a limit of four family members per session.  If you would like to include more family members, there is an extra charge of $20 per person.  Your session fee is payable at the time of booking to hold your spot.  Your session fee is non-refundable.  Weather events may cause the sessions to be re-scheduled to another date.  The sessions are limited to 20 minutes maximum.  Sessions will be booked at specific times.  If you are late for your session, your time allotted will decrease.  All photos will be taken at the same location.  The exact location in Canberra will be disclosed after your booking.  Your proofs will be available for viewing in your own private online gallery two weeks after your session.  You will be given 10 proofs to choose from, subject to participant co-operation.  You will have five days to make your order.  You will receive one free 8×10 inch print from the proof of your choice.  You will also receive a web sized digital image of the proof that you choose to have printed.  Your chosen digital image will be archived for one year from when the session took place.  All un-ordered photos will be purged 30 days after your proofs have become available for viewing.  In addition to your free 8×10 print, all other photos are available for purchase at regular prices.  Please see the price list for detailed pricing information.

I have been trying to talk Jolie into letting me take some pictures of her with some angel wings on for over a year.  She finally agreed to it last night!  So, with no time to spare we hopped into the car and had an impromptu photo shoot.  I LOVE how this series turned out.  I got to use that artistic side of my brain for these and that makes me happy.  Here’s a peek at some of the photos we got:
