Sneak Peek – Sunrise { Canberra Family Photographer }

I finally convinced one of my clients to have their session near sunrise today.  I’m so glad I did.  The light is so much softer at that time.  Not to mention, it’s not as hot here in Darwin in the morning.  I had a great time playing on the beach taking pictures.  Here are a few from today’s session:

11 Months Old { Canberra Baby Photographer }

Jemma is sneaking ever so much closer to the big fat ONE.  I get nauseous just thinking about it.  No more baby!  : (  She turned 11 months old this week.

Sneak Peek – Pretween { Canberra Child Photographer }

Is there such a thing?  Apparently my nephew can’t wait to be a “tween”.  He’s only 10, so he technically he has 2 years to go.  So, I guess he’s a “pretween” right now.  ; )  Anyway, I had an urban shoot with him whilst I was in Denver recently and I finally got around to editing them.  He is really into graffiti so we went scouting for locations for the photoshoot while we were there.  After searching for what seemed like forever, I finally found a few cool walls down in the Art District.  He was quite impressed with them.  I think they made for a cool backdrop, what do you think?

Sneak Peek – Babylicious { Canberra Newborn Photographer }

October 10, 2009

You read that right…it says CANBERRA newborn photographer.  It was made official yesterday.  My husband got a promotion at work and we are being transferred to Canberra!  We are excited to begin our new adventure.  : )  We will be moving at the end of next month.  If you live in the Canberra area and would like to make a booking for next year, please shoot me an email to shanna@joliejones.com.au to save a spot.  I’m looking forward to meeting the Canberra babies and kids!

In the meantime I have several sessions to complete in Darwin before we pack up and leave.  Today I had one of my maternity clients back in the studio.  This time she brought her beautiful new baby girl with her.  She’s got the cutest little dimpled smile.  She’s absolutely babylicious!  Here’s a look back at one of my most popular maternity pictures of mum before bub came along…
