I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy today.  He fought sleep for awhile but we finally won in the end!  Introducing beautiful, 2 week old, Baby K!

Anyway, here are a few from today.

What a natural beauty Jennifer is! Awesome job on this shoot… also what an adorable toddler she has!

Okay, so I didn’t get a chance to read those books yet!  My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway for my birthday (Isn’t he sweet?) .  :)  Anyway, we were busy having fun as a family this weekend instead.  (Much better than laying in bed all weekend!)  We ended up going to Kakadu National Park.  We stayed in a hotel that was in the shape of a crocodile (cool!).  We went hiking up a mountation side to see some 5000 year old aboriginal paintings (very cool!).  We went on a cruise and saw TONS of wildlife…including a 3.5 meter crocodile (SCARY!)!  I grabbed my kids and ran to the middle of the boat so the croc didn’t spot them and think it was time for a snack!  And, best of all, we hung out at the hotel pool together (LOVED IT!).  Here are a couple of snaps of my family.  I just LOVE these people!

I think Jolie got a bit cold but she wouldn’t get out of the pool!…LOL

Twilight

April 18, 2009

Okay, so I’ve heard a lot about this series of books and so far I’ve managed to steer clear.  Apparently they are addictive and once you start reading them, you won’t want to put them down until you finish ALL of them.  Sleeping, eating, laundry…it can all wait…LOL

Well, I’ve decided to succumb to peer pressure and start reading them.  I bought the first book for my hubby at Christmas time and he never got into it.  That could be because he waited until he was in the bath to start reading it and fell asleep every time…LOL   I have friends that have told me, if I start to read them, I should be prepared to drop everything until they are done and that I better have all of them at hand so that I don’t have to take time away from reading to go to the store to buy the next one…LOL!

Anyway, I have a plan…I went shopping today…It’s my birthday next weekend and I’m going to take some time out for me.  I plan to read them all next weekend!  My husband is taking Friday off of work to spend the day with me on my birthday…do you think I should tell him that he’ll be watching the kids while I hide in the bedroom reading four books all weekend?  LOL

Stay tuned for my book report…

(Thanks for talking me into it Amy…LOL)
